Blackjack Review

The Game: In Blackjack each card has a point value. You first get two cards, calculate their value and decide whether to draw more cards (the maximum total points allowed is 21). The dealer does the same thing. You try to be better than him (draw closer to 21).

The Odds & Strategy: RandomLogic uses four decks which is not as good as one: as less decks are used as more easy it gets to keep track of the cards. It is difficult to find an online casino making card tracking easy anyway. The cards are shuffled after every hand. Betting limits are $1-$500. The house edge* with the rules listed below is 0.21% which is pretty good already.
Blackjacks pay 2:1 in their popular "Blackjack pays 2:1" promotion, which has a net player advantage of 2.06%. During these promotions tens should be split if the dealer has a 5 or 6.
During their "5-8 Card Hand Bonus" promotion, 5-card hands are awarded an additional one-half bet, 6-card hands one bet, 7-card hands 5 times the bet and 8-card hands 50 times the bet. The awards are not applicable to hands resulting from a split. When played correctly, this promo has a net player edge of 0.55%.

Rules at a glance:
   - Four decks
   - Dealer stands on soft 17
   - Double any first 2 cards
   - Doubling after a split allowed
   - No re-splitting pairs
   - Drawing to split aces allowed
   - No surrender
   - U.S. hole card rules

Rules: You can play up to three hands at once which is excellent and lots of fun. The dealer stands on soft 17 (Ace & 6) which is good but standard. Doubling down is allowed on any first two cards which is excellent. You can double down after you split pairs which is better than what land based casinos offer you but standard when it comes to online casinos. You may split pairs to two hands only which is below average really: many online casinos allow you to split your cards up to three or four hands. In this case it doesn't really matter: you still can start with three hands at once. You may draw to split Aces (excellent!). If the dealer has a blackjack you may lose no more than your original bet (American hole card rule). Insurance is offered (very good!).
This casino has one unusual behavior: drawing an ace to a split ten pays 3:2. Even so, splitting tens is not beneficial, except during promotions in which blackjack pays 2:1.

Summary: There are not many online casinos offering such a good Blackjack game but there still are better ones.

*House Edge = The percentage of your money the casino (house) gets from you in the long run. So if the house edge is 5% and you bet $100 the casino will get $5 from you. If the house edge is -5% and you bet $100 you will get $5 from the casino.
