Located near Nassau in the Bahamas, the $850 million Atlantis resort on Paradise Island was opened by Sun International in 1998. The Entertainment Centre, which houses the Caribbean's largest casino, has the unusual feature of opening onto outdoor terraces and restaurants, bringing the tropical environment of the Bahamas into the gaming area.
